I've been here several times now, myself and with friends and I like it.
The proportions here are not obnoxious that it gives you itis.
The waitstaff speak English which is key, so my non-Korean friends don't feel like an outcast.
It's a great place for…More »

I have been waiting for this place to reopen for a while now.
I have visited the place several times to see if it was open only to be greeted by the hand written sign that it was closed.
By complete fluke, I finally got there - and with the person who…More »

I liked this restaurant before it burned down because the way the seats are set up reminds me of the days my brothers took me to little restaurants back in Korea, when I was like....6.

I have to say this place is SCRUMPTIOUS, no, orgasmic in every way.

I don't know if you noticed, but I was born an Asian - specifically Korean - which has a lot of similarities to Japanese culture, and one of them, is our love of raw seafood.

I think all I can say right now that describes the way I feel about the butter chicken I had from this place is: ORGAASMIC. I'd actually give it a 10 out of 5 if I could.

Deals I tried. (5)I have LivingSocial, DealGetters and all sorts of deal getting places for me to buy and try out, which is excellent as I am perpetually poor with the desire to try out everything I can within outside of my means...which this sort of thing allows me to do.Here are my thoughts and experiences about the places and things I got to experience; big thanx to all the group buy deals out there! |
Best Happy Hour + (16)Where I love to sit, eat and drink , be loud. and repeat. |
Food on the Walk. (12)Sometimes, you must multi-task and eat as you walk. Most of these places have a dine-in option; but sometimes, that's just not an option for you. Here's my thought on some spots that offer food to fit in the palm of your hand so you can eat & walk or eat and run. |
Eyecandy stores. (1)I love crafts and pretty things and...some of my favourite trinket stores...where you can feast your eyes but must go in with a friend who will keep you away from your wallet. |
Dining quiet (13)Food is great. These are places I enjoyed dining in and getting Take-out from - but quite possibly not go with my loudest set of posse. This is where I go to have actual conversations and enjoy a quiet evening out - not the same as happy hour, where I end up screaming out of drunkeness. |
Breakfast and Coffee spots (7)my FAVOURITE meal of the day is breakfast; I like it in the morning, afternoon and at night. Breakfast time is anytime, in my books. |
