Pizza of the day for 12/23...potatoes. Usually, I'm not a fan of starch on top of my carbs...but this one, was a true winner. Perfect flavors of cheese, olive oil, potato, rosemary, parsley and garlic. The pizza dough was thin and perfect.…More »

Food = good--house-made pastas...
Drinks = good
Service = good when not busy; and when it is busy they are understaffed!
Ambience = dimly lit
It's slightly away from the beaten path of North Beach fare...but it is sometimes filled with tourists...
Food = good, very homemade feel--can't complain about their pastas nor their pizzas
Service = good, family-owned, so...everyone kids around
Decor = okay, if a bit cheesy...
Prices = moderate, but you get good quality.
Parking is a pain here.
Hey...where is this place? Hmm...I see this seemingly unmarked storefront on the corner...oh the signs are covered up by the people waiting outside/sitting on the benches. :)
Service = friendly, quick.

Wings are worth a try. Hubby and friends couldn't deal with the heat, so they were mild. They were pretty damn tastey though. :)
Fried artichoke hearts...hmmm, too much breading. And not much flavor.

Best focaccia ever!
I love it.
Plain. Tomato. Scallion. Big flat sheets of it. Moist and full of flavor.
Trust me...it's worth going there for a trip. Come early, or else, they're sold out! Everytime I get it...it doesn't make it home. lol
Happy Hour on a Tuesday night, was a brilliant idea, as it wasn't too packed. HH is 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Caveat: their kitchen opens at 5:30 for dinner service. ;-)

One of my favorite places for a nice greasy but good cheese pizza pie. I love their pasta dishes too. Their salads aren't bad either.
