My go-to Indian food place. Whenever anyone mentions Indian food (at least in my neighborhood) this is the spot we end up at. Plus it ends up being pretty cheap for two people. Most of the time I get a variety of dishes and each have been spot on. If…More »

Oh god, they have roti. The kind that I grew up with. And they make little rolls like mom used it. GG.
So we stumbled upon this truck by accident and after carefully evaluating my options, I figured this was the truck to go to -- they have a…More »
I got to try this spot thanks to San Mateo's Moveable Feast and I am so happy I did. Extra star for their patience and ability to move a line as quickly as it did.
I got two naanwiches for my BF and I which we split between one another -- one chicken…More »
I love going here -- the buffet it pretty good as well as the dinner service. I've gone for lunch a few times with my co-workers which is nice especially when you have those that aren't familiar with the cuisine. What really impressed me though was…More »
Went here for a quiet evening chat with a friend and I was highly impressed with the decor, service, and obviously the food. We ordered the thali and everything was well prepared with a good amount of variety. Everything was also served a decent pace…More »
I haven't tried the burrito again just yet, but it's on my list.
I ended up here for a team lunch and ended up getting the deconstructed samosa with paneer along with a mango lassi. Delicious! I love the concept of it and it came packed with channa…More »
I split half of the chicken tikka masala burrito and it was okay. The chicken was a bit dry -- the… Read more »
The Indian pizza is so good. That was the only thing I had here and it was quite tasty. Crisp tomatoes, cauliflower, and the spinach curry sauce was fantastic. The great part was that it had a thin crust which I adore so much.

Went here for the lunch buffet and well... The service was great, the chai was delicious, and I will admit that food was great as well. The catch being is that it didn't really strike me as Indian food; it was more of a blend.
And don't get me wrong,…More »
Slightly torn here... came here with two friends and we decided to go family style. We ordered plain naan, onion kulcha and the appetizer plate (which came with samosas, pakora, and papadum). Everything was well portioned for two people, not so much…More »
I tried it out and I was impressed by the quality -- I got around to talking to the owner for a bit and told her I'd probably be back with my mother who was going to be in town for a while. Sure enough when I was working, my mother found this place…More »
Every once in a while we'll get Indian food at work and they tend to order from this place so while I've never stepped foot in this place (though I've passed it many times), I have eaten food from here quite a bit.
The chicken tikka masala is okay…More »
Family and I went searching for a good spot to eat and along the row of restaurants we finally settled upon Indian food. Good choice as the dishes were quite tasty and the service was wonderful. I am in no way sure of just how long we stayed there…More »
Intriguing would be that wrap. Roomie grabbed a Boti wrap which I got to try a piece of and that was delicious. I myself had the shrimp wrap and though it fell apart in my hand* it was still pretty tasty. I like the variations, the ingredients, and…More »
My parents chose this spot because they have Shaheen Sweets which we considered getting but ended up not doing so which kind of sucks because the food from Dera itself wasn't that good. That was a mouthful.
The overall ambiance is -- well it's not…More »
I've never actually experienced what bland Indian food was... till now. I went during lunch with my BF and a friend and we stayed for the buffet. Ah, well, yeah, so bland, I tried a few different items from the buffet and all of them seemed to be…More »
