I fa-reaking lahv this place, okay?!?!?!?! I will marry it, so help me god. And then they'll write a story about me in the papers, cause look, it's another freak-woman who's marrying herself or an inanimate object or something.
So maybe the aisles are…More »

Oh dayummm, y'all. Sometimes I find excuses to go to Dupont, just so I can hit up Live. Actually, my latest excuse to go to Dupont is just "hit up Live". It's divine.

The first time I came in here I was like, "whoaaa attitude, lady. I'm serving myself here and you only have to ask if I'd like a juice. What's with the stink face? Are you getting enough B-12? I'm concerned about you."
But the other guy was…More »

The first couple of times I visited Le Commensal, I was tickled tofu. A diverse selection floats my boat big time, and also sets my heart a-flutter. Le Commensal is NOT lacking in selection. They've got cold salads, hot casseroles, steamed kale,…More »
El Hayyy (4)I like, go to Los Angeles a lot. Not enough to pick "The Best", but enough to start rounding up my reviews. |
Kensington is for Lovers (and Hippies) (6)I spend a lot of time in Kensington, yo. |
OK Fine, Maybe College Street Is Better (8)I moved to College St, and I love it even more than the gaybourhood. These are places I can reach within 20 minutes of walking from my lair. |
Why Living In The Village Is The Best (10)I'm convinced that the gaybourhood is probably the best place to live in this city. The tiny strip on Church between Wellesley and Alexander is enough to make you feel like you're at home in a small town. The scene is always bustling, lively and friendly; there's no shortage of interesting sights AND everything you need is within a 10 minute walking distance. |
