Great cocktail joint.
Lavendar-infused gin? Yes please! Went for after dinner drinks here and got smashed trying their fantastic concoctions. Will return to eat.
Hurried home and lavendar-infused my own gin.

Dropped in here before and after dinner on a Saturday evening and even before 7 p.m. this place was hopping. Choosing to sit on the velvet couch by the open window to enjoy the weather (Kat F. was right - the "patio" is about 3 feet deep so smoke…More »
Mmmmm...fresh guac. 'Nuff said.
As authentic as I will ever come to Mexican food. Tasty dishes including the Shrimp Ceviche and Chile Verde. Very accomodating staff, as they must have made guacamole at our table of 12 around 5 or 6 times.

I must be getting old, as by the time we showed for our 9:30 reservation, the place was so very dark and blaring some cheesy...but awesome...tunes. Where else would you have a candle-lit dinner with a little mix of Metallica and Run DMC?

After a hard day of following women around shopping, we fell into this place by chance.

Walk in and you see a small restaurant where it looks like the panelling they've chosen to decorate the walls, bar, etc. hasn't been stained yet. We're seated and the first thing I notice as there doesn't appear to be a door hiding patrons from the…More »

Recommended by several friends. Came fairly early and still had a 1/2 hour wait for a table.
This place is pretty freaking great. Fantastic assortment of lagers/ales while waiting.

Only been here a few times and only for brunch...and very hungover...but it was quite enjoyable each visit.
I come for the breakfast eaten at lunch and I stay for their Caesar.

Apparently, some Parisians detest this place. Must be the tourists. Visited here on my honeymoon after my sister-in-law recommended that we go.

Funny, friendly and scary Irishman serving you pints is how every pub should be. I was immediately picked out as a tourist for not knowing what Blue Moon was. Now I know.

Strange - my review has been removed.
I like this place. Picturesque, friendly staff and most importantly they had great wines and we dumped down our gullets quite early in the day.
Definitely worth the beautiful drive.
Now this is a pub. Dark, downstairs, god-awful carpet with wear and beer stains, ceiling beams and stucco. All that was missing was brass plates on the walls.
Service was sketch, though. Our server was new and it was clear - several tables that…More »

Rather enjoyed this place - must be experienced with a group of 3 or more at lunch, as it was eerily quiet for a cold, rainy Saturday.

It rubs the lotion on it's skin... (10)Places where men can go to get their pretty on....creepy List Name, huh?! |
Skip these if given a choice. (10)Lets keep this one basic - a list of places that I would now have to bribed somewhat to even think about returning. No joke. |
Great, but (10)Here's a list of fantastic places that just aren't quite "there" yet. |
Good places to help you dress like a Man (8)Well, if I can't act like one, at least I can fool some of you by dressing like one. |
Mmmmeat (15)If it were socially acceptable (and healthy) to eat red meat at every meal, I would load up my bbq in a Radio Flyer and pull it everywhere I went.Instead, I am forced to search for establishments that either serve-up or will sell me glorious mounds of animal flesh. |
Fine Dining Establishments (8)Hey, because I'm pretentious like that!Places I've frequently visited (and in turn either sold my first born, or a kidney). |
The Best of Oakvegas (15)For those brave enough to venture forth into what was the Original Cottage-Country, Oakville has some of the best establishments around. |
French Places (20)I've always had a fetish for French eateries. Full-fledged restos, bistros or boites - it doesn't matter. I'm just getting around to as many as possible. But cut me some slack; I'm on the case and I'm going as fast as my lazy ass can.Maybe it's b/c I judge everyone / everything and generally think I'm better than everyone else. It's the frenchie in me! |
French Places, not in France, but in the GTA (16)I'm on a mission to get to as many Good French place in Ontario as possible before I need a bigger pant size. Here's the list so far. |
Everybody go Hotel, Motel, Holiday Inn (10)Places to stay while away. No, they don't do "hourly". |
