Update on my most recent visit. Hate to do it but I have to bring it down by a star.
They carry one of my fave designers for men's wear, Pal Zileri.
One of the newer (relatively speaking) designers that they are carrying is Neil Barrett. Quite nice…More »

However, they do have beautiful,…

This is my usual stop, for actual purchases, more so than the downtown location. This HR location knows me better than the downtown store and they are friendlier and more welcoming to me. Customer service is of utmost importance with HR.

Harry, I like you. I really do.
Your staff here is good, but not as good as the Oakridge store. I do like the selection here more, but again your staff here doesn't recognize me and give me personal greetings like they do at Oakridge.
I will say…More »

This is an interesting store for men's wear. They have the dressy side and the casual side.
The dressy side has a HUGE selection of designer stuff, possibly the largest in Vancouver. In addition, they have little carve out areas for certain…More »

Came in here just before my walk over to the Brooks Brothers store.
I can't believe that this store has been around since the opening of the Shangri-la Hotel and I STILL did not go in yet. I even went on a guided walking tour of the hotel when it…More »

Dunn's is probably what I would call mid-tier for mens clothing retailers. What they don't have are the high end Italian designers. However, they do carry Samulesohn, Ted Baker, Baumler, etc, which are a little more conservative compared to the…More »

The store is located in the upper level of the Royal Centre Mall.
Part of my (almost) daily routine when I go for my lunch time walks, I will stroll past this store. I'll typically peek inside to see if there is anything that I would fancy. For a…More »

I've wandered into this store many times but have not bought anything. Not that there is anything wrong with it but there was nothing that caught my eye. Their selection is a bit limited when I compare it to other stores such as Harry Rosen or Holt…More »

Leone L2 is the sister shop of the main store and is located in the basement level. Obviously I only look at the mens stuff in here.

I walked into Brooks Brothers when it first opened a couple of years ago and had a peek around. The store was clean, new, and very brightly lit. I didn't care for much of what I saw. Too conservative, too ivy league preppy, too Ralph Lauren, and…More »

Right beside the PGA Tour Store, you can walk into it from the PGA store or from the terminal.
The store is a lot smaller than the downtown Vancouver Store on Alberni Street. Similar merchandise, but limited selection due to the small store size.

The store is deceptively deep if you were just to look at it from the outside. They have quite a large selection of men's suits given that this is an independent store and not part of a chain.
I ended up having a 10-15 min conversation with one of…More »

For this week's workout, I came on Wednesday and it was a bit busy at this Kits location.
The funny thing about this location is the ventilation. I mention this because, of the three that I have been to, this one has steamy windows in the winter…More »
There has been some serious renos here in the past while. The men's change rooms are now redone. Brand new lockers with a faux-wood exterior, new sink counter area and new sinks.

Not for me.
The store is nice. It is very clean, modern, and maybe a bit flashy. I can certainly see the appeal of this store to a lot of peeps, especially women. I think the price point for the stuff is similar to Banana, maybe a tad higher.
