7. Calico Basin
Calico Springs is beautiful, it's the red rocks the canyon is so named for. We had fun hiking the smooth, red rocks of the canyon and stopping to take pictures of the beautiful scenery. The hike itself was easy/moderate, a great hike!

I seriously love this place!!! I make a stop here every time I'm in Newport. The service is great and the prices aren't too bad.

Great place to eat at between hikes and sight seeing. I had the chicken salad sandwich with macaroni salad and it was really good!!!

Great surf and skate shop outside of the AV Mall. The selection was great as was the service. Prices are on par with other similar stores (Tillie's, Vans, etc.).
