Another great meal.
Each dish was thick and rich and spiced perfectly. So much so, I noticed my clothing smelled of the restaurant the next day. Noooo complaints.
However, Indian bottles of beer are $7 a PIECE = and large dishes are $17-18 = really…More »

I ate here on an early Saturday night as I had a hankerin' for some 'zza. Located in a former bank built in the late 60's - early 70's (with it's strange, circular shape), Eatalia's eating area consists of floor to ceiling windows (facing Brant…More »

Second visit to R-Dub and again loved it.
Arrived quite early for reservations, but was seated immediately. The place was teaming with customers and staff the entire 2 hours we were there.

We hit N9ne prior to schmoozing in the Playboy club.
I was blown away how empty the place was, but we were happy to get in from booking last minute. The place was really, really dark. I like ambiance but when I have to squint to see…More »

Ate here last night. Fairly quiet earlier in the evening. Maybe it was b/c I was baked, but really enjoyed the food.
Let me start with the beers on hand: Fantastic. Brooklyn Brewery 's Black Chocolate Stout? Yes please! Num num num.

Stopped here for brunch/lunch after a wedding in NOTL.
A welcome sight away from "downtown core" that is chock-a-block of kitschy stores full of ceramic cats, painted umbrellas/wellies and garden gnomes.

Ate here with the in-laws.
Shared the large charcuterie - verrrrrry thin slices of a few meats; tasty but too small for more than two to share.
I loved my burger, as I got to have it rare. The rest of us enjoyed as well. Nice wine list too.

Quite a great meal. Came early and even though we booked using OpenTable and it was busy, we were allowed to sit.

It rubs the lotion on it's skin... (10)Places where men can go to get their pretty on....creepy List Name, huh?! |
Skip these if given a choice. (10)Lets keep this one basic - a list of places that I would now have to bribed somewhat to even think about returning. No joke. |
Good places to help you dress like a Man (8)Well, if I can't act like one, at least I can fool some of you by dressing like one. |
Mmmmeat (15)If it were socially acceptable (and healthy) to eat red meat at every meal, I would load up my bbq in a Radio Flyer and pull it everywhere I went.Instead, I am forced to search for establishments that either serve-up or will sell me glorious mounds of animal flesh. |
Fine Dining Establishments (8)Hey, because I'm pretentious like that!Places I've frequently visited (and in turn either sold my first born, or a kidney). |
The Best of Oakvegas (15)For those brave enough to venture forth into what was the Original Cottage-Country, Oakville has some of the best establishments around. |
French Places (20)I've always had a fetish for French eateries. Full-fledged restos, bistros or boites - it doesn't matter. I'm just getting around to as many as possible. But cut me some slack; I'm on the case and I'm going as fast as my lazy ass can.Maybe it's b/c I judge everyone / everything and generally think I'm better than everyone else. It's the frenchie in me! |
French Places, not in France, but in the GTA (16)I'm on a mission to get to as many Good French place in Ontario as possible before I need a bigger pant size. Here's the list so far. |
Everybody go Hotel, Motel, Holiday Inn (10)Places to stay while away. No, they don't do "hourly". |
Helloooooo love, would you like a sweetie? (7)K, that came off as creepy rather than Mrs. Doubtfire-ish.These are place to grab something for your sweet set of teeth. |
