Yes - after the reno at this place, I like it better. The slices of fish were bigger than other places and fresher too. Quick order delivery (almost instant) and friendly services, the only cons was last order at 2pm and that's mean must arrive by…More »
first time going back in the last two years, food quality has improved and fresher ... services was prompt and good (you have to wave your hands several times to catch their attentions as they speed passed by), the only complaint was the last order…More »
4.5 stars - minus half star for slow services, well to be honest, there was only one waitress working the whole floor that hour, so I should not be too picky ,, this place like other reviews said - friendly, good portion, inexpensive, etc; thank…More »

Good services (friendly and helpful) - limited selection on menu, a bit pricey for the portion .... tasty not that oily, otherwise worth going back - hard to find the entrance.
generous portion, sauce least salty (in fact a little water down but this is very fine with me - I prefer flavoring rather than "salted") and batter could be lighter/thinner.
It was not oil-contaminated or salty as compared to other Japanese…More »

Let's start with a 4 star - I had a take out, so did not really sat down to check if the table was sani clean (why I said this, because this place has not been reno for a long time, a dated 90s look). Anyway, let's get on with the food. For $8…More »
aside from the cramped space, the chairs are big and heavy - another ill conceived idea !!!

Bare looking, bit dirty. Very oily soup and minced pork rice ($3.50). deep fried pork chop's batter was crisp (I as usual peeled th batter off, but did try small portion for its taste). Minus another point for poor and slow services from the…More »

Loss a star in service. Water not replenished, dirty plates not cleared often. Well a friendly thank you from the owners when paying the bill would be nice - an oversighted perhaps.

shared an ice cream bar $4+, taste very good and fresh - not too sweet overall. Not chocolate fan, so no review on them. Unless you are looking for it, you would not know this a retail store quietly waiting for you ....
had a dim sum take-out instead of dining in, brought my own reusable plastic container and the kitchen staff nicely puts my two orders of pork and shrimp dumplings in .... taste good (slight salt) and reasonable size.
Best to call ahead otherwise…More »
following other yelper's taste buds, I entered this place with pretty high expectation .... at close to 12 noon Sunday, the place was almost full - but the waitress quickly came up with the last half table for two of us and seeing a senior, she…More »
