for me, sobo is the epitome of value for money. you will walk out of this restaurant having spent $20 on a selection of amazing dishes and feeling totally satisfied with every penny you left inside.

4. Gone Bakery
Gone is great. they have a big selection of soups, sandwiches and baked goods. really nice for lunch during a day at the bike park or a nice cool fall afternoon.
try the soup, it's the best. tons of flavors so there's one for everyone!

these guys make a mean cup of coffee. i've always passed BATW as a b-squad coffee shop, but the last few times i have been, i've been very impressed.
the staff were a little scatterbrained but the coffee came out well.

these guys brew a mean cup of coffee. other than the kits twits in line who hold everything up by yaking to each other or on their cell phones, this place is dialed. the staff have been around for a while and are really on top of their game.

this place is the real deal for coffee downtown. they brew up an incredible americano. although the lines get huge here, it's with good reason. i can't think of a better cup of joe downtown.
