Yeah yeah yeah, has anyone mentioned the hipster-y atmosphere? It doesn't actually make me FEEL uncomfortable and what were you expecting on Main and 8th?!
Espresso drinks are nothing spectacular, but not bad by any means. Just ok.
The space itself…More »

Great lattes! Nice atmosphere. Would have overall been 3 stars if not for the super friendly staff. When I thought I only had my credit card on me (which they don't accept) the guy who took my order offered to let me pay the next time I was in my…More »

Didn't try the coffee but loved the service. Barista was friendly but not too chatty and offered more hot water for my tea.
Decor is nice and the place is clean.
Oh, and tons of options for espresso drinks. There were lots I would have wanted to try…More »

I haven't tried their food but I can't stop going back for the lattes and the atmosphere. I just love to hang out there and read, do a bit of work or people watch. So basically, good coffee! Friendly service! Great atmosphere! What else do you need?

49th Parallel beans are really hit and miss for me. Today's cup of brewed coffee tasted a bit like poorly seasoned curry.
The staff are perfectly friendly but they should really have more of them for a bustling Saturday. I would not have waited in…More »
3 stars only for the lovely big, bright, open space. The place is just kind of nice to be in. There's a bunch of outdoor seating, too.
The place is kind of understaffed. There's a lot of variety for food to pick but it's expensive and anything I've…More »

My latte was smooth and delish. My bread and butter (+jam) were heavenly. Wonderful artisan bread and nice thick jam that isn't too sweet.
The space is just nice to be in. Big, bright place with lots of extra space.
Not quite 5 stars because there's…More »
CUTE cozy little space with nice mismatched wooden furniture, a couple booths if that's your thing and enough outdoor seating. Definitely the sort of place where you get your coffee to stay and chat with friends.
My americano was not mindblowingly…More »

Americano and drip are decent.
Cinnamon buns are good but I wouldn't say they live up to the hype.
This place really gets its 3 stars from the staff who have been nothing but friendly and helpful every time I've been in there!

Just got a brewed coffee but no complaints here!
Good, strong coffee that needed nothing added. Friendly staff. Nice, clean space. Reasonable prices.
Such friendly service! Nice deck to sit on for a slow day. Decent but not great drop coffee.
Best coffee beans I've found in Vancouver.
I sniffed some medium roast Guatamala beans and was so happy I nearly tipped over onto the floor and when I brewed at home it did not disappoint.
Perfect service. I got some coffee to sample and he will…More »
