Foie heaven's sake!

I'm a huge fan of foie gras, so this list is in honor of the wonderful dish (btw, if you are one of those... fyi geese can naturally eat a corn on a cob which is much larger than the feeding tubes used which actually sits well on their stomachs)

Hands down BEST FOIE GRAS ever!

Great... I just realized today that I got charged on my credit card, an amount much higher than what I had signed off for (bill and tip included). Fortunately I checked my statement prior to settlement. I can imagine other patrons not noticing the…More »

Wonderful service indeed... and I just love it when a restaurant provides hand lotion on top of liquid soap in the bathroom :p

This is supposed to be the best restaurant in Montreal. Or at least the best from what I researched and found. So we were excited to secure a reservation (albeit a pretty late one) on our weekend trip here.

Food was good, not phenomenal. I had the…More »

Hats off to their free bottle of wine promo for diners every select Monday a month till the Dow hits 12,000 (and I hear it's not a cheap bottle too!). I've never been there for dinner but have been for brunch several times.

I'll admit it... I didn't give Balthazar its fair chance to shine as I treated it as my Pastis substitute. When I was here, I basically jumped at the opportunity to order my favorite stuff from Pastis.... yes you guessed it... the chicken liver and…More »

I've been here many times. Sometimes I'd have an aight meal here and at other times, I'd have a pretty good meal. In any case, Norwich Inn serves up some pretty decent food. If given a choice though I'd rather go over next door to Carpenter & Main.

Used to order delivery from here pretty often:
- Foie gras terrine
- Fried calamari
- Filet mignon

They probably deserve at least a 3.5 star since I'm rating them based on what I receive for delivery (sans presentation etc).
