Neighbourhood: Granville Island/False Creek
With all Keg's being the same, but not- this one is reliable but defiitely not the best location. It's conveniently located on the tourist-friendly Granville Island and is generally reliable for all things red meat.
But take note:

Yeah, it's the "sexy" keg.
This is like your favourite keg but ultra glammed up- taking the best lesson from cactus club: Hot servers and yuppie-vibe.
This IS the best keg location with like..3 floors, a massive heated rooftop patio that soaks up all…More »

Not all Barney's are created Equally.
A shabby attempt at copying the original on Granville street, this main street version is just too sanitized and cold. It doesn't nearly have the home-made feel that the original has and its modelled after some…More »

Hangover Breakfast. YES
The original Caffe Barney never fails to impress.
I have been coming here for about a decade to have my breakfasts with friends or even alone. Breakfasts are served late into the day so don't fret if you wake up late.

I understand what they thought.
The kits version was so cool... all wooden interior, student bar vibe, great mix between sports bar and live music shindig.

As a chain, cafe crepe has done pretty well in Vancouver. This is my favourite location downtown. It's clean and has good service.

I generally love the JJ bean chain but this location just doesn't compare to the one on Main & 14th.

-JJ bean roasts its own coffee- which is awesome- BUT this location just smells funky because of…More »
