Madras Pantry's Dosa is eh- Okay.  As my friend put it, " I'll just eat the Chutney."

The guys behind the counter don't offer a lot of advice on what to order or what is all in the wraps. I almost feel like they are jumping on the wrap-burrito…More »

As many other South Indian places, Udupi is very cafeteria-like in stylings.  I don't know who did the design for all these places, but I'm pretty sure living in south India is much like being an elementary school student and eating at sterile tables…More »

For my money, Saravana Bhavan is just perfect. food for a great price.  Crispy, smooth dosas and bubbly, chewy uttapam.  The Sambar is just like Dosa in SF, packed full of leaves, seeds, and spices that hit your taste buds in all the right places!
