Hum. I have made 3 visits to this place and I'm still undecided - it's just not mind blasting enough. So I think I will do what I usually do - and point out all the wrong things and what I did like about it - not in that particular order - and leave…More »
This place is always a fallback for me. I think I go here among the pubs on Bloor street because it actually has booth area.

I've been here twice and both times the experience was...average.
Everything about the place is average - the food, the service, the decor...whatever else.Well, maybe not the decor- it's the chalkboard drawing everywhere - like Jackass' which I LOVE.…More »

I am a firm believer that this place has ruined every other Indian food spots for me.
I've been here a few times now...and have found that the service and the food were both excellent. The moment you enter you're greeted and water is brought to you.…More »

This place deserves a 4 STAR, for delivering and for having EXCELLENT food - I've had Butter chicken from here several times now - and it just melts away in your mouth. There is just never enough of the food...and sharing is OUT OF THE QUESTION.

I am a yoga fan. I am a fan of OM chant. I am not a fan of this restaurant.
I have watched businesses drop away from this spot like flies for last few years until this one. Since it stuck around for longer then most, I figured that it must be good.…More »
Walking around after work looking for a patio to sit and relax - is a challenge on a sunny day. Some reason, the nice patio in this place was rather empty - maybe because it looked more fine dining and not so much a pub? either way, my friend and I…More »
A friend recommended(born & raised in Montreal) this "incredible chain" to me, during my visit. It was a "must go." So before my concert at the Bell Center, we bee-lined to the closest St. Hubert we saw. We had 1.5 hours to spare, before the 7pm…More »
THIS was the only restaurant where the waiters didn't avoid us completely because majority of us didn't speak French. It was also the first place we saw English in the menu, alongside French.
I can tell you, our experience in Montreal restaurants were…More »

It's quite possible that the college location of this chain has raised my expectation of this place and quite possibly skewed my review. Meh.

I had my first corned beef sandwich here at least 5 years ago while I was burning time before an interview- I had another sandwich afterwards(cuz the guy was super cute). I didn't get the interview, but fell in love with corned beef & deli sandwich…More »
I don't think I've had roti that was as good as it is here anywhere else. The gravy they put in the roti is just enough that if you leave it to sit it gets all soaked up in the roti. It's awesome. Just like a wrap.

I spend most of my days in this neighbourhood and have never seen this restaurant - in fact I think it puts on an invisible blanket when I pass by everyday to and fro work - cuz like I said, I've NEVER seen or heard of it.

Korean & Asian Restaurants (24)I love Asian food - Korean food in particular - in Korean town. My mission is to spread the love for Korean food like flu in the winter time...or desire to mate in the spring time - resistance is futile, and it is everywhere. There's tons of good restaurants and very few bad ones....I've included reviews for other foods as well here... hopefully my reviews can enlighten you on where you may want to try. |
Health institutions (5)There are countless walk-ins....while it's not possible to review all, here's my experience in some. |
Deals I tried. (5)I have LivingSocial, DealGetters and all sorts of deal getting places for me to buy and try out, which is excellent as I am perpetually poor with the desire to try out everything I can within outside of my means...which this sort of thing allows me to do.Here are my thoughts and experiences about the places and things I got to experience; big thanx to all the group buy deals out there! |
Best Happy Hour + (16)Where I love to sit, eat and drink , be loud. and repeat. |
Food on the Walk. (12)Sometimes, you must multi-task and eat as you walk. Most of these places have a dine-in option; but sometimes, that's just not an option for you. Here's my thought on some spots that offer food to fit in the palm of your hand so you can eat & walk or eat and run. |
Eyecandy stores. (1)I love crafts and pretty things and...some of my favourite trinket stores...where you can feast your eyes but must go in with a friend who will keep you away from your wallet. |
Breakfast and Coffee spots (7)my FAVOURITE meal of the day is breakfast; I like it in the morning, afternoon and at night. Breakfast time is anytime, in my books. |
