Dining out in Victoria, BC

See All Lists
I've spent more than half my life here and am still a frequent visitor. Allow me to steer you away from the tourist crap and toward the best Victoria has to offer. WARNING LIST Aside from avoiding anything that faces the inner harbour, there are also a lot of chains that masquerade as restaurants which I would run from. Milestones, Cactus Club, The Keg, White Spot, Blenz, Smitty's, ABC, Earl's, Boston Pizza, Macaroni Grill

What to eat in Marin County, California (31)

Where to eat around Marin County. Mostly Fairfax, San Anselmo and San Rafael. It seems unlikely but Marin does have an amazing assortment of top notch restaurants tucked into some of the neighborhoods and villages. Probably something to do with the number of Chefs who want to call this home. Lucky us!

Soy Lattes I have known (15)

I am what you might call a soy latte connoisseur or snob.  I dislike flavoured and sweetened soy in coffee. Imagine if a regular milk latte at Starbucks all of a sudden came pre-sweetened with vanilla flavouring... yes there would be blood. So why should soy drinkers be stuck with this sub-par coffee experience? This list is for the San Francisco Bay area. I also have a list for Victoria, BC.
