Dim Sum
Neighbourhood: Outer Richmond
This is a great place for large groups.
I booked two tables and we were seated quickly on a busy weekday night (yes, it was packed so reservations are recommended!).
I opted for the menu that included soup, Peking duck or lobster and 4 dishes from a…More »
Super cheap take out/fast food like dim sum.
If you're looking for a more traditional dim sum setting this isn't the place. However, this is great for a dim sum quick fix.
Cheap, fast, yummy and yes, I'm a fan.
I've been here a few times and will definitely come here in the future. This place is my default restaurant for a number of things. Food is always good and I've never had a bad experience here.
Some of my regular dishes (everything is to be shared):

This place has still got it. It was one of my first stops coming back home (there's no place like home!).
Ever since I had their tan-tan noodles, I've been checking out places around Mountain View but nothing is as good as this place. Tan-tan (or…More »
This place is the place to go for xiao long bao as you can probably see from all the other reviews.… Read more »
I've come here for both dinner and dim sum.
For dinner, we were able to get one of the private rooms behind the cashier's desk. We had one of the banquet set meals for 12 people. The service was great and the food was delicious.
For dim sum, I came…More »
Great little Chinese vegetarian restaurant just off University Avenue. I wanted something cheap and delicious and Yelp pointed me this way. I had their Kun Pao Veggie Chicken entree which comes with two scoops of brown rice. The dish was…More »
This place is outside of the "mall", closer to the Jacob outlet (to the left if you're facing Jacob).
Plastic sheets are the substitute for table cloths. It reminds when I was young when all the Chinese restaurants used them.

I've been here a few times for dim sum more so for its convenience than food since it's in Pacific Mall.
The last time I went here was probably the most "meh" experience. The dim sum here is usually okay but there were a couple stand outs (for not so…More »
Love this place. It was recommended to me by my aunt-in-law and I've come here a couple of times with my husband. Thus far, we've like everything we tried.
I really like the beef noodle soup's noodles. It's a thick cut noodle which I tend to…More »
There's always a small line up when I come here but I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes. The dumplings here are great which is obviously the way it should be considering its name.
The xiao long bao are like little pillows of juicy yumminess.…More »
Queen's House is probably one of the most frequented Chinese restaurants that I go to since I live close by and the food is pretty standard. This place is packed most of the time so if there is a line up remember to add your name to the clipboard on…More »
I came here with my husband for a late lunch.
We had the beef noodle soup which was somewhat of a disappointment. The broth lacked flavour though the beef was tender. He really liked the noodles and the beef itself so that in a way made up for the…More »
