Another great find thanks to the infamous Marc D.
The interior is super plain and the piano music is almost annoying, but the food is decent.

Came here for some sort of Shanghainese Association banquet. Being one of the 3 non-Chinese people there, I had quite a good time. How? A 93 year old Chinese guys sang KTV and danced his ass off. Mad props to his moves including "the twist" as he…More »

Hmm. Not sure how/why I came here. Shouldn't listened to my gut when I walked in. Dinner time with only one table filled with white tourists.

Hate to do it, but gonna have to downgrade. Violated freshness rule. They use that 'frozen medley' seafood i.e. rubbery junk.
Dim sum is still alright.

I went to a comedy show recently and the guy reminded me one thing about Chinese restaurants. When you walk in, you rarely get a "Hi, how are you?" to start, generally you'll just get a stern "HOW MANY?". Daimo was no exception, but hey, maybe one…More »
