I have been a few times for lunch now. The food is well represented in a Buffet style. We arrived late, and they were about to wrap up.

A pub is wood laden, it has a stained floor, a brass rail (or modern substitute), and incredible draught beer selections. The food is hearty but modest, the staff are swift, reserved and well spoken.
