West Town is a juxtaposition in appearance.

From the outside, it looks like a quaint breakfast restaurant. Inside, it looks like a college pub bar with booths, TVs switched to sport channels and posters on the wall. But don't let appearances fool…More »

I came here on a Friday, feeling under the weather and craving comfort food. Even though it was close to lunch time, I had a goal in mind: eggs and bacon, with brown toast on the side.

The restaurant is small; I was one of two people who ate in…More »

I was very excited when I heard The Lakeview reopened for business.

Frugal Eats in the Money District (11)

Lunch is the second most important meal of the day and the second most expensive in the Financial District. I may work around money but I don't want to waste my hard-earned dough on over-priced, mediocre dishes.

My quest is to find good, inexpensive food ($10 or less) that doesn't qualify as "street meat".
