Worth the wait!

Yes, you will stand outside for 30 - 45 minutes - it is always busy. It's worth the wait.

Brunch rocks!

This time we stopped for brunch, and were equally impressed. At 10:30 AM Sunday we had about a 40 minute wait for a table. Tables for four people are somewhat cramped, but the same exceptional service and great options for food. I loved…More »

Everything will be great if you just understand a few simple rules.

Looking at some of the negative reviews of the Elbow Room here, I think maybe people need to understand some basic rules.

Rule 2: If you are…More »

A hidden gem for a quick bite.

Great little place that you could easily miss if you are not looking for it. Seems to be a one-man show, the owner is the cashier and chef. The menu is a selection of crepes, sandwiches and soups.

Satisfying brunch for savage hunger

Another stop on my search for the ultimate brunch. I probably would have walked by without noticing had I not been planning to meet some fellow Yelpers there. It doesn't stand out and is not at all fancy, but the…More »

Rooms with a View (7)

You might forgive these places if they lack a bit in food or service - in my mind, their views rock.

Where we go when we're looking for "comfort food" (5)

We've pretty much memorized these menus.
Sometimes we want to get out, adventure and try new places. Other times, we just want something familiar and comforting. These are our all time favorite "not into trying something new" places.

Buried Treasures (14)

I would never have found them if not by accident. I'm glad I found them.

Eating Mexican in Vancouver (8)

I'm always looking for the best Mexican cuisine Vancouver has to offer. Here's some of the places I've tried. You won't find funky tex-mex Lolitas or Carambas here. Some are good, others not so much. But they are a taste of Mexico.
