This is quite possibly one of the nicest libraries in the city.
With two large glass and stone fireplaces, tons of computer stations and free Wifi this place is great.
I didin't find their selection all that great but you can always have books you need…More »

I don't believe in love at first site... that is of course before I walked into BMV. Sure she's not as shiny and new as my beloved Richmond Chapters but what she lacks in aesthetics she quickly makes up in character... and price!

Definitely my favourite local bookstore... I am here pretty much once a week!
They have a great selection of books on music, pop culture, and fiction and the prices are excellent. They also carry a good mix of DVDs, CDs and Vinyl.

I love Umbra! It's such a cleaver little place with all it's simple modern designs. I will agree with Taylor O. and reiterate that it's products (not the store) are kind of like a Canadian take on Ikea. They have a pretty consistent line of products…More »

I hate to say it but I have grown out of Urban Outfitters, both physically and stylistically and moved over to its more mature cousin Anthropologie.
That being said, UO is still my go to place for quirky gifts, housewares and cute shoes. Usually…More »
