We go to the JA National Museum whenever we're in LA.
I love that it is located in the heart of "Little Tokyo"

This modest, low-key museum is a joy to visit. They have an exhibit hall of historical photos,, cafe, picnic grounds and over 50 streetcars and interurban electric train cars on display, Train rides available too.

We really enjoyed the Maui Ocean Center. All of the marine life in
the exhibits is from Hawaii.
The center is very user and kid friendly. Although it is "small"

We spent MANY happy hours here. The museum and animal
viewing areas are kid-friendly and fun for the adults too.
Coyote Point Park is a wonderful park to have a large group

We went to the Aquarium on MLK Jr. Holiday weekend. We went there after 3:30 and were able to beat the crowds. There were swarms of people leaving as we entered.
