Went here again last Friday. Rebel songs abounded. Musician knew every single one of my requests. Somehow our bar tab ended up being more than our food bill--and we were okay with that.

Great place. You can't go wrong here. Best pub food in Philadelphia, hands down.

Dublin Square is extremely authentic. I'm glad to see less places like Bennigan's around and more traditional pubs like this. The bar is well-stocked and the decor is unabashedly Irish--without the plastic Paddy nonsense.

This is an ideal place for a…More »

A bit pricey, but this place is really versatile. One night it's a hip Barack Obama inauguration celebration and three days later it's got some famous names in the Irish traditional music world just chilling at the bar. Since I have a foot in both of…More »

Liking this place is all about timing. I prefer to go here when it isn't crowded. Parts of it remind me of my grandmother's house and other parts remind me of Ireland. My friends took me here for my bachelorette party and they gave us our own private…More »

This is a decent, solid Irish pub. It can get a bit crowded after work as it's a tiny place. I like it because the bartenders all seem to know how to make any obscure, Irish, and Irish American drink.

And for God's sake...order a boilermaker when you…More »

This place used to strike me as authentic, but now they do more sell-out type events like 'hot lady contests' or something. I don't think you can be an "authentic Irish pub" while including signs in Irish AND promoting specials on car bombs.…More »

This place is a bit generic and dreadfully pricey for pub food, but the food quality is different and you'll notice some twists in the menu items--for example, the cheese dip is actually melted cheese that doesn't harden after a while--always nice.

Went here after a day-long scavenger hunt. I still love it, but some of their "on tap" beers were not on tap. Don't run out of Harp. Most places suck and don't serve it at all! :(

This place still has a perfect Guinness pour, btw, and bartenders who…More »

This place isn't aiming to be ethnic as it is sporty, and I'm okay with that. It doesn't try to be something it isn't. It does, however, have awesome pub food and a fine selection of local beers. My love affairs with lemon drops and Hoegaarden both…More »
