Best French Restaurants

This list is not limited to one city nor one country... the list encompasses my travels to seek out the best french restaurants in the world. Unfortunately Vietnam and Laos doesn't have yelp yet otherwise they would've made it on the list as well.

The restaurant is located in the middle of no where (well at least from a tourist point of view staying downtown) with no real signage making it hard to find for our taxi driver down the dimly lit street but he was able to guess and dropped us off…More »

The 9 course tasting menu was heaven. Simply one of the best French fusion restaurants in Montreal.

Seating is limited and reservations are required but you won't be disappointed with the food or service. They have an extensive wine list as well.

Called to make reservations and was surprised that Le Pigeon was pronounced the way we do in English and not French. We were also surprised when we found the restaurant and stepped inside of what seemed to be a very rustic decor with long tables…More »

This review is long due since when I tried it RF was still the executive chef and came out to greet us during our dinner. Hopefully the same standards have been upheld since his departure.

Bring your black AMEX as this place isn't cheap but it's well worth the splurge if you can afford a $500 plus dinner (bottle of wine and champagne included of course).

Not as good as Bouchon in Napa but pretty damn close. Much more affordable than Alize since you're not paying for the view but great French food nonetheless.

Tapas (8)

Love love love trying ten million things in one sitting so it's no secret that I love Tapas as much as I love French food. Surprisingly my hometown The OC has as many good eats as my new second home Vancouver.

Vancouver's Best (15)

Hopefully this doesn't create long waits at my favorite restaurants but here's a list of my musts for anyone traveling to or living in Vancouver to try.
