A colleague from out of town who is a beer aficionado was in town so we decided to try this place after reading the reviews as I am not a fan of Bier Markt.
We decided to do a walk in at around 6 on a Saturday (a bad idea as they were apparently full)…More »

On a hot sunny day like today I happen to walk by this spot. Always meaning to try this spot due to the amazing beer list (rivals that of Beer Bistro) today seemed like a perfect day to kill some time and enjoy something to cool me down.

I dropped by for a drink as I was passing by so this review doesn't apply for food. The draft beer selection is impressive and with a lot of Belgian brands being represented. I am a Delirium Tremens fan and usually order it whenever I see it on…More »

I have marked all the places that serve Delirium Tremens and intend to try them one by one. Finally had a chance to try one on my list. This was an easy pick considering the positive feedback it has here on Yelp.
My friend and I showed up at 7 and the…More »

After a typical long Monday (hey everyone feels down after the first Monday when the Daylight Saving has ended!) I decided to try this place as they have the Delirium Tremens Beer on tap. I really wanted to try this beer and this place had decent…More »
Ended up here after the place we wanted to try was closed (even though the website stated otherwise)
For a Monday the place was packed especially the patio section. Heck its summer and Canadian really know how to enjoy their summers! We waited a bit…More »
Great place to have a pint for cheap and grab some food. Thursdays are great as you get 3 oysters with drink and you can get a whole 16 inch pizza for 6.99. Service is friendly and you can order stuff from the store as well which is awesome. Sadly…More »

The initial reviews were great for this place so I was really looking forward to my visit here. Made the reservation online and showed up a little bit early. I normally don;t go to this area of town so it was a pleasant surprise to see an eclectic…More »
I am going to deduct a star on the second visit! how can you be out of the drink of the day at 8 PM. Luckily I was given a substitute drink without the mixer. Service hasn't improved much and is slow. Unfortunately the winter is here so waiting to…More »

I finally visited this spot to watch a UFC event. So here is the down low on this spot:
Prices have increased and some items were not available from the menu on the website.
The place was reasonably packed for the event and I would recommend reserving…More »

This place is apparently relocating so they didn't have much of selection on this visit. Ambiance is very laid back. Huge Selection of beer which is almost at par with Beer Bistro. The place is kind of pricey (if you order stuff by the bottle) as we…More »

I was here for a CMYE so this review mainly applies for bar area.
The setup is nice and has an open feel. This is an unexpected place as the exterior of the place doesn't do it justice.
The bar area is consists of a long bar with and spreads almost…More »
Passed by this Pub and then recalled having it on my bookmarks so decided to drop in.

Face off Indie coffee passport 2011 (30)Ranking on Indie passport 2011 for Cappuccinos in Toronto. if the Cappuccino was bad on the second visit other espresso/coffee drink was tried.I do take my cappuccinos with a sweetener so by no means these reviews are from a purist's standpoint. |

Cigar Shops Toronto (20)For the Cigar Luvers in Toronto. In my experience most of the places sell Cuban Cigars for the same price with one exception unless one buys a box. One can find a better deal for non Cuban products if there is special on them at some stores. Some places charge a premium for the location. So what sets them apart is the service and selection IMO unless you know exactly what you want. |
Cappuccino Face Off Vancouver (8)The best of the best in Vancouver for this hard to master espresso delicacy. |
