Even driving in this morning I am still thrilled to have gone to last night's Yelp event. You know why? Because after years of searching I am 99.9% sure I've finally found my favorite Burger place. This is a very exciting thing! I'm planning on…More »
I like Fuddruckers but what the fudd was up with this one?
I got the Buffalo Burger, Fries and a drink and it cost almost $15. And it was served on a cold, gross wheat roll. I ordered the burger medium and it was charred.
Was not impressed.
Meatheads. The name makes me think about that alien thing on Meatballs II. Here's the skinny:
BRING LOTS OF MONEY.
It's expensive. VERY expensive. For my 4 year old daughter, my husband and myself - it was nearly $35. We just got three meals and three…More »
I am starting to notice that the places I go to eat -- the ones that keep their menus short and to the point are the ones that I always end up liking the most. The same goes for Five Guys.
First of all, my three year old daughter adores coming here…More »
This place has replaced Portillo's as my most favorite place to get a great hot dog, or any Chicago food for that matter. It's a little dive place on Irving Park Road.
Here's what we've had there:
1) Double Dog, Easy Mustard: Great snap. Perfectly…More »

Excited to eat next to the river. Here it is summed up in bullet points:
- waited over 5 minutes for a server to get there.
- waited 15 minutes for our drinks
- waited an additional 10 minutes for my kids drinks
- servers hung out up at the bar and did…More »
My family loves Sunday Brunch. LOVES it. We typically frequent the Shaw's Sunday brunch but for Father's Day this year we wanted to try something new, and less expensive. So I saw an article, maybe in Chicago Parent? (Not sure) and we took a drive on…More »
We've been to this location in the past and the food was good, atmosphere was great and we really enjoyed it. So when we had to go to IKEA last weekend we were excited that we'd get to stop at Johnny Rockets.
We got there about 11:10 and tried to get…More »
My 3 year old daughter and I had a "girl's Day" Sunday and so we were going to go to the mall in OakBrook. I let her pick where we were eating. She saw the cow (with Harry's glasses) outside and decided that she wanted to go to Harry Caray's. Me,…More »

Again, pricing aside, I had breakfast here after our most recent stay and it was excellent. Everything was cooked perfectly. The sausage was out of this world.
And that same server who entertained my kids and made them feel special came over and made…More »

The premise of this place is that your food is delivered to you by a train that goes around the counter on train tracks. That's it. Go into this place expecting nothing more, and you won't be disappointed.
My kids are 5 and 3, and they liked it alot.…More »
First, if you or your kids have any sort of peanut allergy, don't go in the vicinity of this place. There are bags and bags of peanuts everywhere here.
That being said, I am a cheeseburger fanatic, and I love this place.

I went here on a recommendation from a good friend, raving about the fries. I had a serious craving for a hot dog and we were going to hit Portillo's but I did not feel like paying the Portillo's price so took the opportunity to go here.

Best Bacon Cheeseburger Ever.
EVER.
I first want to say that the people saying that Fuddrucker's burgers are better, I'm not sure what planet you are living on. These burgers make Fuddruckers burgers seem like char broiled hockey pucks.
Here's what…More »
This stop on my Bacon Cheeseburger hunt was depressing. I was expecting more.
Here is what was great: the fries, the atmosphere, the pretzel roll.
Here is what was not great: the burger, and the price.
The burger was flat and not juicy. It also didn't…More »
What I liked:
- the bun, had a perfect buttery crusting on the inside. It was also fresh.
- the bacon, wasn't what I call "freeze dried" bacon, you know the kind you can nuke for 30 seconds?
- The cheese was plentiful.
What I didn't like:
- I did not feel…More »

Been here a handful of times either for Yelp events or just to enjoy one of the best burgers around. The burgers are consistently juicy, to the point that I feel like I'd be better off wearing my napkin as a bib. They have great pizzas both for…More »
Before proceeding, I do want to acknowledge that I really like the food here -- that hasn't changed. Though the fries haven't been consistent. The sweet potato fries have been coming out overdone and the smashfries came out twice with hardly any…More »

The reviews on this don't lie. This place is awesome.

I'm a fan of the wings, but not of the burgers.
Been here twice. The wings are really good. Not the best I've ever had, but still good. There have a ton of different sauces that you can choose from. My son loves the maple - I like the fire. My…More »
This is the best 2 Toots location out of all of them. It's huge, the layout is fabulous. I love that they use Grass Fed beef. The burgers are like a hybrid of Steak N Shake and Culvers. Your food gets delivered by a train riding around the counter.

Outside of sit down, dine in only restaurants -- there are four types of burger places that every burger lover is aware of:

I fell in love with this place hardcore.
Initially went for the burger, and wasn't real impressed. The bacon tasted like jalepenos, the beef was lacking flavor, bun was not fresh, and all in all it was just ok. But I re-read the reviews and went back…More »
