Another day in Ashland and another place for fine arts. Art FX is a pleasure to visit. Their wares are well displayed, well chosen, and gorgeous. And like my friend Toni, I'm a sucker for nice glass and reasonable prices for such quality.
It's a chain and it's OK. The service is nice too. However, if I were int own with my son, he'd be here for their chocolate and I'd be across the street at Mix. The generations would then meet at Lithia Park and enjoy our treats and the day together.
I vaguely remember coming here back in the late 1980s, when Rogue Ale was here. I believe they were flooded out during an early 1990s, and after some tenant turnover, the Caldera Tap House now occupies this property. It's right down near the creek…More »

Tasting was free and the wine was quite good. Eric Weisinger was friendly, charming, and a great salesperson for his wine. The patio also had a great view of Ashland. He even convinced Gayle to join the wine club for while.
