What can I say that hasn't been said already?
Grand Central Terminal is a bunch of contradictions. It's always busy, yet somehow calming in the gorgeous space. It's a tourist attraction, yet it's not suffocating like, say, Times Square. It's a…More »

I LOVE THIS STORE.
I came here during a previous visit, and it was instant love. It's just piles and piles and piles of CHEAP CANDY! Well, mostly cheap. I know the handmade chocolates cost more. But there were tables of regular candy bars for 75…More »

A group of my friends went to NYC last month. After they came back, I talked to one of them about their trip. My friend raved about Doughnut Plant's tres leche doughnut. I mean, he went into full detail about it. That's how much he loved it.

A long time ago, I spent several summer weeks in NYC, taking a summer class at NYU. During my free time, I rode the Staten Island Ferry many times. It was sometimes crowded, sometimes not. I loved it. It was the perfect way to cool down on a hot…More »

It's small. It's cramped. It's overpriced. Yes, I know it's a tourist attraction, but I still cringed when people loaded up on 4 for $14 bags of candy.
I walked out within minutes of walking in. I had to; there was nowhere else to go.

It's bright. It's so bright, you can probably see it from space.
It's crowded. It's even worse when the Broadway shows let out.
It's home to several oversized national chain restaurants. Unless these chains don't exist where you live, please, please…More »
