We came here for a quick lunch since it is near the Citadel area.  Cute diner with moderately slow service.  We got the April 89 crepe (fruit and custard) which was somewhat ordinary and the beef melt panini, which had some flavor.

On the first night in Halifax, we wanted to try the local seafood cuisine of Nova Scotia.  Walking distance downtown, we gave Five Fishermen a go.

We stumbled to this place by chance.  This cafe has a patio with a nice view of the bay.  While we were able to nab a table outdoors, the service was incredibly slooooow!  Perhaps that was because only one lady was waiting on us along with…More »

Mom-and-pop shop in an old taxicab stand near the Halifax seaport.  It is a tiny but homey place with basic Iranian cuisine.  Since we were the only ones there, the "mom" took her time to make our food.  We got the lamb wrap that was cooked nicely,…More »
