This monster mega theatre is the biggest show in town around here. I like the fact that the parking is plentiful, there is an East Side Mario's right in the parking lot for a pre-show snack, and the lineups are never long. They always have plenty of…More »
The Ultimate farm experience for families! This huge local farm is run by Al and Doreen and their family. This huge farm has it all... petting zoo, an animal barn, tours of the milking barn, educational programs for schools and in the Fall, pumpkin…More »

I totally love eating at ESM in Langley. It is actually in the parking lot of the Colossus movie theatre and is convenient.
The food is great, it is clean and a family dinner out doesn't cost the world.

Wind and Tide preschools are so great. I had my daughter in one and then we moved and she finished out her second year at a different preschool, and it was a disaster. She was so bored. We drive quite a distance to make sure my numeber 2 child is in…More »
Dr. Steve is excellent with kids, and really a good and gentle dentist. He isn't a last minute kind of guy, so plan ahead to get a prime apointment time, but quality care is assured.
Their office could use a makeover, but I can deal with that when the…More »
Revolution has left the Gold's Gym Location and bought their own spot. It is in the old Reflex Gym which used to be the A&B sound building in Langley. HUGE facility, great prices, the best martial arts coaches, fantastic Judo classes for kids and…More »

I am hereby removing a star. Still love this place... but the custard pies have gone up in price and down in size... and I mean significantly....
The point of these pies is that they are so magnificent that you put them on the table and all your…More »

Dr. Zerkee is the best Chiro we have ever used.
Nice clean new office, great staff, and superb chiropractic treatment. I have had a number of injuries and issues with my back, and have received exceptional help and relief.

Lou's Grill is an incredible spot. It is a bar atmosphere that serves great food. Four hungry adults can't get through their nacho plate. My personal favourite is the Sangria but the pitcher. The rib appie and wings are great, and I haven't had a bad…More »
This coffee shop, bakery and specialty store runs in the front of a remodelled very cool old fire hall in Aldergrove. Their cofffee and nosh and lunch food can't be beat, the atmosphere rivals the best tea houses anywhere, and their retail area is…More »
The Hampton Inn is new, clean and nice, for anywhere. (Even for those who think everything in the burbs is somehow second class)

The Browns location in Langley is a happening spot.
Hard to get in there on a Friday night, but the crowd is a funny mixture of nouveau singles in their late 40's who got the house in the divorce but haven't been on the "scene" with that little hair…More »
I totally get why little kids might enjoy a frenetic hour pumping their parent's hard earned money into ADD inducing machines that flash lights at them, but as a parent, I think we can search out better uses of time and money.

Unfortunately this is a McDojo.
It is very intricate in their rules and contracts, and expectations but has more of a cult feeling than a place a child can go to learn some confidence and crack a sweat. Lots of money, not a lot of return.
This is a mixed review....

This is a cool spot for a birthday party, and they happen to have packages. The interior of their interpretation centre really needs a face lift (and a rug shampoo) but the experience is great. The kids love the animals, and learn a lot on the tour.…More »

The little gym is a nice place. I haven't used it for lessons, just a birthday party. It was a really nice little party for the 4 year old set.. however... the price was unreal. I think for a two hour party it was over $250 which is just nuts.
