Maybe I came during a shift change but there was only the manager at the till complaining to the back where the other front counter person was. I had to wait longer than 4 minutes to get my McDouble and Junior McChicken and small root beer.…More »

This is the best tasting Canadian Chinese food on the heights. For $5-6 from 11am to 3pm you can get very large portions of food and it helps when you come with a group because you can share for variety. If you don't like MSG ask for no MSG.
For a cheap and quick snack, T&T has a cafeteria inside their store. With most Asian cuisines available on the menu, it's great if you're in a hurry and just looking for a cheap snack.

They have very interesting soda's. The prices are very reasonable. Every day there is a special except Sunday. There's also a neat little grocery section of this restaurant. I would come back.

Yum!!!! This is how donuts are supposed to be made! Finally, a bakery that still hand makes donuts in the morning! It really reminds me of being a kid when Robin's donuts and Tim Horton's actually baked from scratch in the morning instead of…More »

This theatre has vastly improved under the new management. I didn't find a problem with the cold so I suppose the new management actually turns on the heat. They have brought back $2 movies on Tuesdays and they are all first run movies! The…More »
For $8.95 you really can't go wrong with an 8oz. Char-broiled steak with corn, mashed potato and soup or salad. The decor seems like it's from the 70's but it's a cozy place, clean and in a great neighborhood. This place usually has good lunch…More »

This is a hole in the wall that I would never have found unless I was walking. It's at the edge of Burnaby Heights across from the Happy Honda and beside Pizza Hut. So it's off the main drag. The sushi was very fresh and for the price very good.…More »

I probably need to come here again to re-rate this place. The brewed coffee was bitter, but at $2, I couldn't complain. I did however enjoy their free Internet and its a great alternative to any of the chain coffee places and fast food places…More »
