Come be a tourist. Come watch fish being thrown. The fish market stalls at Tsukiji Market in Tokyo make this look like minor league.

Pretty standard sports bar but they had $3 beers on game day which made it a nice place to swing by before the Sounders game.

Had good, quick breakfast spot if you are at the airport. You get quite a bit of food for not too much money (by airport standards).

A tiny little bakery which had some very appetizing looking loafs of bread. I just bought a couple of their tiny pies (pecan and almond) and was very pleased with them.

Simultaneously disgusting and fascinating. It is very fun looking for messages and notes in the neverending gum.
I picked up a slice at the Fremont Market after seeing them set up and people line up for some fresh pizza. It is so awesome that they have a portable wood burning oven that they make their pies fresh in at the market. They whole set-up of their area…More »

A pretty standard rental place. Our car was nice, new, and clean but the service was meh. They kind of just pushed us through (which was nice because we were trying to leave early) and did not inspect the car with us. It was easy enough to return the…More »

My sister loved her avocado arepa from this wonderful little Fremont Sunday Market stand. Arepas are pretty hard to come by in most cities so don't pass by these ones.
Cheap and delicious fresh tacos. I had one of each ( chicken, beef, and pork) and the salsa they put on really packed a punch. They were full of flavor and very juicy. This was my favorite snack at the Sunday Market.
Picked up some fresh chutney naan while at the Fremont Sunday Market. Right in the middle of the food stands, you watch your naan being made fresh and it is absolutely fantastic.
Bizarre and amazing! A very small place with a very powerful menu. Everything we had (meatballs, gnocchi, chicken, and clam alfredo) were mind-blowingly delicious. I highly recommend upgrading your salad to the soup as well. Their soup was literally…More »
