Review #300. This one will be a gem. Winner of the 2011 Extremely Awkward award, this place is ridiculous.

I've never had a dog until 3 months ago, when Turbo entered my life http://twitpic.com/6e5l18 . Not knowing a thing about well anything to do with dog ownership, we brought Turbo here for the usual puppy visit.

Dona Cata, I used to love you but then you were a b*tch to me so I have leave you forever.

The things I do for love. I've never been a fan of hot pot, but to make the gf happy I caved which led me to this place.

I appreciate the factory-like speed of some Chinese restaurants. But when your order arrives within 1 min, you gotta wonder what's ahead for your stomach.
Ordered some standard dim sum items, all sucked. They must've nuked them. Maybe even twice.…More »
And today you will learn where NOT to eat in Kelowna.
After walking around Bernard Ave's restaurant selections, we walked into here thinking we couldn't go wrong with some typical pub fare. Boy were we wrong.

Got dragged to this place by a friend as she lives in Port Moody. Let's start off with the only pros: Cute servers, not bad ambiance. Now let's get down to the main concern, food. We started with calamari which we thought would be a safe bet. Nope.…More »
The States has some great eats in some place, but I'm still hunting in Bellingham.
Not wanting fast food or a greasy spoon, I figured a Thai place can't be half bad. Walking in, the lady working there is pretty much a one-woman show for front of…More »

Took my gf for what I thought would be a nice, romantic dinner, but turned out to be quite awful. Portions were small and lacked taste. Service was mediocre. I would not return.

Never again..
I've been to their other locations (never impressed), went from friend for breakfast on a Saturday morning. We ordered very basic things like eggs, sausage, and crepes, etc. Simple right? To demonstrate how slow the service was our…More »
Mediocre burgers and unlimited fries. That pretty much sums up Red Robins. My last visit (last ever) was a terrible exhibition of poor service and management. A server spilled salad dressing on my jacket, did not apologize. I confronted the manager…More »
I've been to 4 of their locations (not impressed by any of them) but the New West one has to be the worst. I can't remember what I had but it was terrible. My gf had just normal spaghetti and I swear the sauce was just straight out of the can, plain…More »

It's been years, but when I went it was called Cat's Meow. Went for someone's bday party. What an awful experience. All the food was undercooked or overcooked (my fish was super watery inside i.e. freezer burnt fish), drinks were very weak.
Sadly, the…More »
Tried once, won't try again. The burritos are not cheap for what's in them. Look inside and you'll find a ton of rice, and little meat. Not much flavour to them. Loading it with sauce helped a little, but it remained un-finishable.
Went here for lunch today and ordered their special. Yellow curry chicken that came with Tom Yum soup, veggie spring roll, and rice. To sum up what I will say next: I could make a LOT better at home, and I'm not Thai.
Starting with the soup. Not even…More »

I'm not old enough to know much about The Beachcombers so that novelty is not appealing. The food is best described as 'reheated frozen' as there is no taste whatsoever. Maybe go here for a drink for the view.
First time, went with my gf because she heard they had a belly dancer. Food was ok for Greek, nothing special and pricey for Greek. The belly dancer was quite old, albeit strangely entertaining. She really got in everyone's faces and essentially…More »
