What/Why:
This is a popular summer's event for Pride and those who like a picnic.
An outdoor beer garden and a selection of DJ's spin music throughout the day.
There's kid's theatre, face painting, games, balloon and barbeque. Games of tug-a-war, the high heel shoe toss, the drag races or the watermelon eating contest provide for a great day with prizes and plenty of FUN!

DJ D3VIANT
DJ Jason Van
DJ Mitchell Bederman
DJ Rush'n Noiz

7/24/2010 Joe L. says:

It was probably one of the most uneventful events I have ever attended. Perhaps it was not an event for adults who like selections.  Both my partner and I were so disappointed with what was offered at the event that we walked straight through it.  We are grateful that we had the rest of the park the explore on a perfect sunny day by the water.

We were there a little early (just after noon) and the volunteers were still setting up the booths, banners and such.  There were only a handful of picnickers at the "early" hours.  Yes, there was loud dance music and other .  However, for a picnic and outdoor events, there was only one food vendor (therefore, no selection) and an ice cream truck.  There was not really any selection for people to choose from.

We opted to walk along the Seawall and had lunch at the Fish House.  We considered if we should walked back to check out the game events but decided it would not be worth the walk considering the types of events and the lack of any vendors.  We missed the event last year while we were out of town on vacation and our friends said we could not miss it this year.  Don't ever listen to your friends!
