Make It is the largest event of its kind in Western Canada. It is an upbeat experience that gives enlightened shoppers the opportunity to buy directly from Canada's top urban artisans and designers! Craft Show + Party = Make It!

Make It is devoted to creating positive opportunities for artists, crafters and designers. On the flip side, Make It is a shopping event that gives enlightened shoppers the opportunity to buy unique, ethically made goods from top artisans from all over Canada. The vibe at the show is funky, hip and modern very different from you traditional granny craft show! Music is spun by top local DJs and there are always tasty treats to be enjoyed. Make It is about appreciating creativity, connecting entrepreneurs, and giving conscious shoppers an alternative to the mall

I'm going to try and plan a mum/daughter date for this!  I'm discovering that 13 year olds need to be enticed with more exciting things than walking the dog to spend time with mum. : )

For everyone else - I encourage you all still to come... and make sure you stop by the Yelp booth. Tell Cait (who will be working the Yelp booth all weekend long) the secret word: YELPTASTIC (and you'll get a schwag smorgasbord! I'll be there first thing tomorrow morning for any early risers :-)
