- Going all day long, August 20-22 at Kits Beach. KitsFest is Vancouver's new summer tradition.
Check out the first ever tournament of Beach Tennis in North America! Watch or play, enjoy beers courtside, witness art coming alive with Ha-Hu art http://vimeo.com/11826409 and groove to 70's Retro Motown music provided by some of Vancouver's most established DJ's.
The Boathouse at Kits Beach, Milestones, Nando's, Vera's Meats, Kitsilano Billiards and other iconic Kits restaurants will provide KitsFest patrons with Kits signature food and beverages.
This 3-day event celebrates sports and healthy living through a variety of competitive sports tournaments including; basketball, tennis and volleyball. This year, the KitsFest is proud to feature a new sport sanctioned by the US Tennis Association (USTA) - Beach Tennis.
This inclusive family friendly festival has several activities and attractions for all ages. The "Kids Zone" includes obstacle courses, games and even face painting. There's also a "Baseline Bistro" area, which will host some of Kitsilano's favorite local eateries and restaurants. KitsFest runs August 20th - 22nd at Kitsilano beach, ranked by Forbes magazine as "One of the top three sexiest beaches in North America". Come be a part of Vancouver's hottest new festival!
