What/Why:
The annual Gourmet Food & Wine Expo is held in November at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, South Building. Each year the Expo offers 35,000 guests an unparalleled opportunity to sample over 1,200 fine wines, spirits and beers from around the globe.

General Admission Includes
* One day unlimited access to the Expo floor

Just a word of advice - go early or don't go at all. By 7:30 it was slammed in there, and this was last night at the preview night, which I don't expect was as busy as tonight/the weekend will be!

Also: you have to pay to get in, and then pay to do individual sampling (in case this wasn't obvious). You buy tickets (1 ticket = $1) and some of the samples are different prices. There was a tequila that was 8 tickets.

It was a lot of fun though!! they had gel-vodka in a tube for $2. Some amazing wines from Alsace, loved the Riesling. theres $7 lobster at the Inniskillin stand! :D and $4 patron shots.. although the Anejo Patron was $8...
Also in the "spirits" section there were yummy mango frozen martinis! which didn't taste synthetic, like most mango stuff does here. Oh and i have never been to Club Med, but they had free White Chocolate bread samples (with a recipe) that they make at the resorts and it was DELICIOUS!
