What/Why:
Park Here is Openhouse Gallery's response to frigid winter. It's a pop-up park in the heart of Nolita
that's blooming when nothing else is. Park Here has plush grass, beautiful foliage, picnic blankets, oversized
bean bags and hammocks. Blazing fast WiFi, mornings exclusively for moms and their kids and kicking off with a
Rolling Stone concert series. This park has plenty of food vendors, BBQ tasting, free wine tastings, free coffee, outdoor music series, and hammocks. Located on 201 Mulberry St. between Spring + Kenmare.

Intoxicating Confections will be selling Champagne and Carbomb cupcake 'shots' on Dec 31! There's also a Yelp Deal - $15 for $20 (price of a dozen cupcakes), so get the deal (only 20 left) head on over to the Park and get some cupcakes for your New Years Eve party!

Was pretty cool, interesting/fun// you can and should take in your own bottle of anything or cup of tea. The people at one of the had pizza and wines and other yummies, they'd invited a group of friends. A cute interesting WARM psuedo break from the rush of the city and I hope they are cleaning those bean bags because people make themselves VERY comfortable on them.
Nice place and idea though.. check it out

I went last weekend.  This place was crowded around 4pm on a Saturday and the space was smaller than I anticipated but still really cool.  Came here after a day of shopping in Soho, found a red picnic blanket and took a nap.  Great to place to revive yourself before going out again.  You can bring your own food or they have about 2-3 vendors selling little snacks like coffee, cupcakes, and PB&J sandwiches.  Good place for families and kids too.

I have loved the pop-up park since i wandered in off the street and stared around confused and elated back in December.  I'm a mom and most of this post is going to be parent/kid oriented. The hosts for the various family events have always been so gracious and warm, very inviting every time i've come back with my husband and child. every one is so chill and the atmosphere is lovely, plus - Free Coffee! Big Fluffy Poofs!! Lots of Other Kids to Play With!  It's really made this winter so much easier to handle when it's just too cruddy or cold to go to an outdoor park.  We've gone frequently on the weekends and even my sitter has brought our daughter there to hang out during the mommy mornings - they also gave me a niiiiice packet of free stuff for mommies - we're going to citibabes for our free play pass on the 13th (thanks pop-up park!).  I am really sad to see the pop-up park close for the season! please come back next year!
