What/Why:: The Hotel InterContinental Montreal has teamed up with Dishcrawl to offer an evening to remember! Join us for an exclusive Absinthe tasting as we dive into this mysterious and alluring drink shrouded in history. Guided by the wonderful staff at Sarah B - voted one of the top MUST SEE bars in Canada, and featured in the February 2012 issue of En Route Magazine (http://enroute.aircana...) - to educate and demystify.

We will start the evening at the sophisticated Sarah B. Absinthe bar where we will be introduced and shown the seductive ritual that surrounds this mysterious and historic drink. Hor d'oeuvres of tapas will served as a sampling of the proceeding transition over to the opulent Osco! Restaurant.

Our gastronomic and sensory experience will be filled with lavender, virgin olive oil, fresh market ingredients, freshly baked crusty baguette and privately imported wines courtesy of restaurant Osco! InterContinental's new Provence-inspired brasserie will enchant your senses as we discover Chef Matthieu Saunier's - Youngest executive chef of the InterContinental brand - signature creations.

The team at Osco! and Chef Saunier will welcome us with a three-course dinner with available wine pairings exclusively chosen for the Dishcrawl event showcasing their privately imported wines. Chef Saunier will inspire your appetite with his tantalizing menu reflecting his French background in the equally elegantly refined space of Osco!.
