- Social media plays an important role in Buffalo. Obviously, here on Yelp, we offer an important way for customers and business owners to share useful information about great local businesses (and talk about how much we love FOOD!). It's democratic and dynamic.
So it makes sense that this social media conference is coming to Buffalo -- and just in time. Instead of giving your money to a school or a marketing firm to take care of your social media strategy, you can learn to DIY for $150. Plus, this it ain't yo' mama's conference. There will be interesting speakers, an afterparty, and CUPCAKES.
Yes, cupcakes. Yelp will be handing out free, delicious treats during one of the breakout sessions, courtesy of Fairy Cakes Cupcakery. After all, busy tweeple cannot live on coffee alone. How's that for engagement?
