Thanks for the nudge, Andrew! This sounds great but I don't think I can book it out there by 6 on a weekday.  if I'm reading the page right, it looks like weekends after 6pm are fair game (and weekdays are good for the group rate all day), if you all end up having trouble assembling a group of 10 for this date... Though that wouldn't have the same significance for Roanna, of course. :)

We can rent a canoe, right? not just a Kayak? Looks like you can even rent a paddle boat.

I'm bringing some picnic stuff, I thought it would be nice to take advantage of the perfect weather and setting. If anyone else wants to get in on it, maybe we can do a potluck style picnic or something.

Can't do Mondays so went and did this today.

You can use a canoe, kayak, row boat, or pedal boat. The kayaks range from 1-2 people, as does the row boat (comfortably). You can put up to 4 in the canoe. The pedal boat is either 2 seater or 4.

The water is pretty warm so you can jump out of your boat and swim to someone else's if you please.

Bring some food for the geese.

It's fun! Wish I could make Mondays.

*hey, you shouldn't fee wildlife! as they get dependent on humans and change their instinctual habits, and it also affects breeding patterns. God knows we have enough Canada goose for a cull, already.
(and knowing all this I still threw some nuts down to the cute squirrel from my balcony haha)

I think my partner Aaron will be joining us.  I will bring a soft cooler and pick up some juices and snacks on the way.

Thanks for the feeding animals tips, Roanna. You saved me from a biologists rant. Though last weekend I couldn't help feeding the gray jays at Garibaldi since they literally took my sandwich out of my hands and mouth.

Just fyi, there are waivers to sign. If everyone is ok with it, I'll just print the group waiver and sign it. Or, I can print individual waivers.

I'm okay with group as long as everyone else is. I might also have a friend joining. Hope that's okay.

I'm planning on bringing some Palm Bay's :p and maybe some snacks too!

It was great!! But I am not big on sunscreen, even though I make sure my daughter is slathered in it. So, now.. yeah.
