- Yelpers like Coralie B love the Barkyard, "a wonderful off-leash dog park in La Salle Park overlooking the waterfront," because of "how organized and secure it is, and others must agree because there are always people there summer or winter, hot or cold."
Coralie also likes it because "To start, you won't have a problem parking because there's a lot directly in front of the park. When you walk up to the fenced area, there is a small section in between the "small dog" and "all dog" sections where you walk inside, lock the gate behind you, and take your dog off its leash. Then you choose which section you'd like, depending on the size and personality of your dog...Everyone we've met at the park (dogs and humans) have been very friendly." The Barkyard also has "a really great website" where you can find out more info.
If you're a dog-friendly yelper like Coralie, you might consider heading out to this fundraiser to support your favorite dog park. Twenty-nine bucks gets you unlimited drinks, food, live music, and the knowledge that you're making LaSalle Park a little cooler for all of Buffalo's denizens -- including its dogs!
