I went to Thai Kuu on a Friday night with my boyfriend and his grandmother. She made reservations so we had no problem getting a table. The restaurant is very small and packed. I was feeling grouchy from the noise and difficult to hear the other people at the table...
Then the food came, it was amazing! I forgot about how loud the place was and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. It turned a so so dining experience to a great one! I ordered crab meat fried rice and chicken pad see ew (not on the menu) to share. Both were amazingly good especially pad see ew that is my favorite Thai food which wasn't on the menu but the server said they could make it. I highly recommend they put it on the menu.
The prices were on the high side, I would definitely go back but probably for lunch (less crowds/less expensive)

I didn't even know chestnut hill had a thai resturant. Had dinner here recently. Made reservations.
Staff was super nice (david I think) and attentive.
I had the duck appetizer (in a fried wrapper) and this other scallop item on their specials list. I preferred the duck although both items were delish.
I had to stay away from pad thai since I always always get that. I got the pad num prik (?)...my friend got the spicy basil. Despite being separate items the sauce for both tasted really similar. I took mine home because for some odd reason I was full after a few bites.
It's BYOB so I just had the thai ice tea which was as expected- yum.
I didn't feel my entree was out of this world but maybe it was just my selection or maybe I just wasn't really hungry that night so I couldn't appreciate it.
This is an excellent Thai Restaurant. There are many vegan and vegetarian options. The friendly wait staff were great with the kids. The restaurant decor is delicate, so that might pose problems for people with more obstreperous kids.
We ordered the lettuce wraps with tofu instead of chicken. It was excellent; ask for it prepared that way. The Massaman Curry was very rich and flavorful. It was not too spicy and if you like the taste of peanuts, this is the dish for you.
Small restaurant in Chestnut Hill. Great staff and service and pretty decor. Felt a bit cramped due to the size of the restaurant but food was great. Would return if I was in the mood for Thai and was in the area.
I reeeeally want to give this restaurant 3.5 stars. I love the look of the restaurant and the staff was very friendly. My husband and I went on a Sunday afternoon, and it was quiet. The food was prepared really well, and we truly enjoyed everything we ordered. The problem lies within the portions of the food. I usually dont eat much and end up bringing a to-go box home, but I left the restaurant and I was still hungry! If we go back, we'll make sure to eat a full meal in advance. :o)
