They do a nice job cutting hair. Who wouldn't like the hot moist towel on the face while getting the shampoo and the shoulder massage after that? Even if you don't watch sports, this would still be a place that I think most people would like, and if you like sports, there aren't any other places I know of that have this kind of atmosphere, and the extra touches mentioned above.

There are plenty of good sized TVs showing different games, so you will probably find a game that you will enjoy watching while getting the haircut. Sure, they cost a bit more than places like Supercuts, but this is a good value.

I also found the people working there to be upbeat and friendly. See, there you go, another plus. Give it a try, I think you will enjoy it.

Quick service I was in and out on super bowl Sunday in 30-45 minutes from the time I walked in to when I walked out. I have got nothing but compliments about my hair since that day.

The Statue of Liberty, the Grand Ole Opry, the Golden Gate Bridge and soon to be added to the list of iconic American landmarks, SportsClips Encinitas. Get your haircut now, before the waves of men making a pilgrimage to the Mecca of haircutting makes approaching the store an impossibility.

Let's start with the bad: I don't have enough money to pay for an 8-hour haircut, and my hair doesn't grow fast enough to support a haircut every day. Even with supplements, meditation and a Rogaine-soaked bandanna I was not able to achieve hair growth rates greater than 3/4 an inch a month, which is sadly insufficient.

And now for the good: Everything. From the minute I walked through the door to the time the security guard pried my fingers from the door jamb, it was an experience like no other. The stylists are incredibly friendly and with the MVP service you get a relaxing face/scalp massage and a backrub that puts the cherry on top of a precision haircut sundae. Artists with scissors, these stylists are.

If you need your hair cut, and you live within 50 miles of Encinitas, and you do not come get your hair cut at Sportsclips, then I have nothing to say to you. You might as well tell me that you're a Raiders fan.

I love sport clips.  For a guy there is no better place.  You don't need an appointment, they have flat screens with sports on, they know how to cut men's hair - mine is very thin and difficult and they are all very consistent.  Love the shampoo, and the massage/hot towel is a nice touch.  I have gone to the one on Palomar airport for the last 2 years and went to the one in encinitas this weekend for the first time.  Both are 5 stars in my book.
