Round Table has lunch buffet ayce (6.99) for pizza and drink, 7.99 with salad which isn't worth it since it's all iceberg lettuce with a couple dozen toppings. 9.98 gets you pizza, salad, and a drink.

rating: 2.5 stars since you can try a slice of almost the whole menu

eats:
-parmesan twists: no cheese taste, not worth it
-pepperoni and cheese: never liked pepproni
-white cheese, tomato, and  ?: not bad
-sausage, ham, and cheese: pretty good
-articoke and ? : ok
-ham, tomato, and ? : bland
-deep dish: interesting
-mushrooms: not sure if i saw one.

crumbs:
-not too pleased with doughy crusts
-mozzarrella was stringy.
-could see "house of curries" opening soon across the street.
-no doubt all meats have nitrates in them,  only sausage great, ham passable.
-done with round table forever. ..

Update - 3/15/2012

Aside from the fear of delivery guy spitting on my pizza, I decided to NEVER order from here ever again.

Repost in agreement with my fiance:

Guess I didn't learn my lesson the last time.  The last time, the delivery was late.  45mins to an hour, turned into an hour and 20 minutes.  So I thought I'd give them another chance.  Shouldn't have done that.  Again, the pizza was late.  Took them about the same time.  Called them to inquire about the delivery, "Oh, it'll be there in 5 mins" SUUUUUURRRRRREEEEEEE

When the guy finally got here, no apology, I hand him the money, he counts the money, gives me a nod, and leaves.  NO "THANK YOU", just leaves.  I know this is Oakland, but does everyone need to be "Gangsta"

I gave him $33.09.  When I go to walk my dogs, I see the $.09 sitting right by the elevator. REALLLLLYYYYY.  he's too good for $.09.

NEVER going back there again.  Too bad too,  Round Table is my fav pizza place.

Please just close already.  I called tonight to place an order using the A's ticket promo (free personal pizza when they hit a grand slam, and Inge, the A's new third baseman and former Detroit Tiger, did it in his first game against his former team!!).  

First the store manager tells me they're not a participating restaurant (I'm looking right at their listing on the website under "participating restaurants" and I explain to him that indeed he is participating).  Then the story changes that I have to buy something to get the free pizza.  Hung up and called Temescal instead (they did it no problem).

There's a reason the Grand Ave store has such lousy reviews.  Just go out of business and do the neighborhood a favor.
