This restaurant has saved me as a LA transplant, from San Francisco / the Bay Area, which has the most exquisite and expansive choices of Indian restaurants.
I sort of gave up, until I found this one. Now, I treat myself regularly to their delicious and tantalizing lunch buffet. The service is always excellent, and Mr. Nitin even packed me my left over nan bread and some carrot pudding as a "thank you".
Highly recommend it, if you like the real deal!

Delicious food, and so much variety! It's really hard to decide what to eat here, so lemme just give you a run down of the dishes we tried.
Always worth it to get a bunch of orders of bread.
I'm a huge fan of the garlic naan and the onion kulcha - they're delicious on their own, and are even better dipped in the sauce of any of the main dishes.
Didn't really like the Alu Paratha (flatbread stuffed with potatoes)... a bit too heavy on the starch, and was too dry without enough tasty roti.
Then onto the entrees.
The chicken tikka masala was pretty standard, good chunks of chicken.
The chicken chili was REALLY good... the chicken pieces were fried and tasted almost exactly like the orange chicken you get at chinese restaurants, but with a delicious onion, pepper, and tomato sauce.
And finally there was the saag alu, curried spinach with potatoes, which was wonderfully soft and flavorful.
Though I haven't had too much exposure to Indian food, I was definitely happy with the food we got here. It was a good level of spicy, very flavorful, and the price wasn't too bad.
NOTE: Check in with foursquare to get a discount! Or use the yelp coupon (13$ for 20$). Either one is a pretty good deal!
I love the smell!
Okay so my love of samosas is known quite well amongst friends, and India's Tandoori is one of the best I've had :D (veggie of course; I'm not a fan of meaty ones)! I had chicken tikka masala and the meat had a good smoky flavor along with the rich sauce. I wasn't so fond of the saffron rice (too busy). The naan was okay (not to a heavenly level). Either way, pretty decent Indian place n_n
Came here with some friends for brunch. It looks run down on the outside, but the inside decor is pretty nice. I must say I was impressed with the selection and how good the food tasted. It is also great for vegetarians, some of the friends I came here with are vegetarian and they enjoyed it so much they have been back a few times. The Tandoori chicken was ok, recommend the Chicken Tikka also the Chicken Korma. The Garlic Naan is delicious. My vegetarian friends especially enjoyed the Samosas. So did the non-vegetarians. If you are into tropical drinks, have to try the mango lassi, every one in my group was raving about it. Overall great price, food selection, and taste. Only let down was the TV blasting Bollywood style music videos that made talking to people furthest in the table hard to hear, and a couple of the waiters can be rude at times.
