This place has good hearty Italian meals, a cozy and clean atmosphere and great lunch specials.
Whether its the pizza or one of the various pasta meals, Goodfellas is sure to fill you up with a hearty meal and it is delicious. The service was great and the owner was very friendly and is usually working in the front of the restaurant serving tables himself.
It is definitely more of a group place. I don't see myself coming here on my own even if for lunch. The lunch specials are reasonably priced and the portions are perfect.
Overall a great place for lunch or dinner but definitely go with a few friends!
This would have been 3 stars if they had not overcharged me, the specialty pizza's are $17.95 on the website and no where does it say $23.95, the same goes for the pastas, it shows as $10 on the website and I was charged $15. Either they didnt update their website or they left it up there to mislead customers, either way I didnt like it.
The pizza was very good but portion wise for a $23.95 pizza I expected more.
The pasta was not good at all.
Easy enough hang out with good pizza. Great service and friendly staff. They also serve boylan bottled soda which is a nice bonus.
Try the dessert apple pie pizza if you have a sweet tooth!

3.5 stars.
I was here recently and ordered their Sally Pie while my gf had the Smoking Goodfella. They were both very tasty and original, including the crunchy crust.
The service was very welcoming and professional...the fellow was one of the few waiters in the city who didn't get annoyed at my scoutmob coupon.
Their brick over is a cool sight as you walk in, but makes the bathroom in the basement a real oven as well. Btw... the bathroom was kinda dirty... that's why I didn't feel like giving them 4 stars...
I was very excited when this location opened, because the Vodka pie at the Staten Island location is my #1 favorite pizza in NYC. We went on a weeknight. The place was empty, and the service was fine. The food however, was meh. They were out of calamari, so we couldn't have that. The bruschetta was just ok, not very crispy or flavorful. The pizza came out small with a very soggy crust. I was disappointed, despite going in knowing it couldn't possibly be as good as the original.
So, they have been faxing my office with lunch specials every morning. Today we ordered the salmon and sauteed spinach lunch special. It took 45 minutes to arrive. The food was ok - one good thing is that they actually have croutons in the salad! Most LES places are too good for that. I love croutons.
I would go back if I was in the neighborhood and wanted wood-fired pizza, and I will probably order lunch now and then just for convenience of having Italian delivered. But, it is nowhere near as good as the SI location, definitely not my favorite place in the LES, especially at the prices they charge.
