FCC was great! I wouldn't hesitate in taking my vehicle or recommend taking a vehicle to get repaired here.
My 2012 Toyota Prius was backed into and although it didn't look like a lot of damage, as we all know with the new cars, be prepared to fork over some dough, luckily the insurance companies where handling it. From the very beginning FCC was a great experience. The initial estimate was easy, they explained everything to me, even when I asked those stupid "female" questions they explained it in a manner in which I understood it.
During the repair, they emailed me daily updates along with a log in to a website where I could actually see pictures of the progress of the work being completed, that was pretty cool. My Prius was completed in the time frame they had given me. When I came in to pick up my Prius they pointed out something in the paint job they were not happy with (honestly, I probably wouldn't have noticed it unless they pointed it out, I'm glad they did!) and told me instead of not giving me my vehicle for a few more days, they would let me take my vehicle and than have me bring it back in a few weeks after the paint has settled. When I bring it back they will finish the paint, detail it again, and the job would than be complete and the point job will match perfectly.
I have already taken the Prius back in and they completed the paint work in a day. I picked up the Prius and I have to admit, now I see the difference in the paint job. My Prius looks as good as new! Again, FCC gave nothing but excellent service.
I would highly recommend FCC to anyone who needs repair done on their vehicle and I would not hesitant in taking my vehicle there again.
I was rear ended on 101 and found myself back at FCC again. When you make the daily commute up and down 101, you know it's only a matter of time before someone rear ends you as they text and drive, so my time was due.
Naturally, I brought my car back to Matt Piper at FCC. As always, is team turned around the car far earlier than expected and in pristine condition. They even replaced a piece of my center console (unrelated to the accident) that had been melted during detailing.
These guys do a really good job and do it quickly. 5 stars for service and quality.

Someone backed into the front left bumper of my Subaru while it was parked in a lot. Five Star Auto… Read more »
These guys will do the job right!
They even pointed out prior work I had done at
another auto body shop was bad work.
I trust they are honest guys who do it right.
Sheldon was great and gave good advice too.
And Cindy is a lovely (hottie) and friendly young lady, she is also helpful!
I would go back!
FCC Collision Center is one of the best and most customer friendly auto body shops in the Bay Area I've ever used. You're greeted by a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere with great attention to customer needs. On more than one occasion they fixed a scratch completely free of charge, with a smile from Matt and his team. Just made my day. For more comprehensive jobs I have been incredibly impressed with the quality of the result, while still being very reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
6 return "redo" repairs, 1 horrible experience... fcc, they just can't get it right. Customer Service = 5 stars, Repairs Work = 1 star.
My car had a fairly simple bumper replacement that needed to be done, and I went to fcc because of the reviews on here. BIG mistake! I would say the worst thing about fcc is their repair workers, they are aboslutly horrible and very incompetent, the best thing fcc could do is fire them and hire all new repair employees, the only good thing about fcc is that the office staff tries to give good service and promises, but time after time their terrible repair men screw it all up.
Another MAJOR issue with fcc is your car will almost always come back with additional things wrong with it that were never wrong with it before, all kinds of things that go wrong with your car that are a big pain to deal with (they let your car run down it's battery so that your battery is "shot" afterwards and never works correctly again. We had to take the car back to fcc about 6 times for the one repair job, because they kept screwing so many things up, saying the car was finished, when we would go to pick it up would notice tons of things wrong with the repair job and things broken that never had an issue before (like the radio).
The worst part about all of that is they will fight you tooth and nail about taking responsibility, they REFUSE to ever take any responsibility for causing things to brake unless you can prove it 100% that it was them, and they stick to the line that it could have broke at any time and just so happened to break while they had the car. (so apparently things that were working PERFECTLY for 8 years all of a sudden break when fcc has your car, like I said, they never take responsibility AT ALL unless it is 100% proven they did it. And even when you can prove it, they try to then place the blame on the accident and get additional funds from insurance.
We had a check stolen or "lost" that was in the glove compartment, and they didn't even at least question their workers, they simply denied their workers could have done it. First of all, the repair work is very sub par, the paint had lots of extra big "blobs" and orange peel. All kinds of things were done incorrectly and obviously a bad job and wreaks of poor workmanship. For example, a piece of rubber was missing off the headlamp they were installing... it was pretty obvious that they should not installed it and it had it replaced but for some reason they installed it anyway (so I had to come back to get it replaced).
One of the times they gave the car back to us, saying it's "all done" as usual, and as usual things were wrong, like the headlights being pointed straight down (they didn't even aim them before giving us the car...simply terrible quality control). We took a brand new headlamp we purchased (insurance wouldn't cover it) for them to install, when they gave me the old headlight without the packaging that fits the headlight perfectly (they threw it away) and also kept the new bulb I was supposed to get back along with the rubber cap to the bulb (those things SHOULD NOT have been missing at all) and were needed so I could sell the old headlight on ebay... after contacting them about this they were able to find the items they didn't return to me, but there was NO REASON it should have happened in the first place.
There were so many other things that were not done correctly or done very poorly. They don't concentrate enough on quality repairs or critical details. The manager however is a nice guy and tries to make things right, his employees however just keep screwing everything up, the front office employees are nice and try hard to please as well. They also will try to "fix" the different issues that are found for free and do additional courtesy services for free, like installing my new headlamp that I purchased for free and cleaning up the car very nicely each time.
Like I said, they have good customer service, but terrible quality control, like calling to say the car is done, when it turns out the car is far from being done correctly. They need to get on top of Quality control and their terrible repair workers and pay closer attention to the details that make a quality job. I honestly think that if they replaced their repair workers and quality control worker, they would be a full 5 star auto body shop.
