I went on a field trip once (fashion school, forever ago, long story), and we went to see Lululemon clothing getting manufactured at Tamoda Apparel (before they moved it all to China). It makes me happy to see this place, machines whirring, bolts of fabric all over the place, and people actually designing for all to see. This location in particular is great for me because the Cambie + Broadway…

Hastings Sunrise - the best (and worst) of

It ain't much to look at, but this Renaissance neighbourhood is home to some of East Van's best eats.
